Hamburg, with all its cultural and culinary offers, is in close proximity to the Rosengarten and within easy reach for hotel guests. Indeed, our hotel is the ideal starting point for excursions to Hamburg, its harbor, the many Hamburg musicals (e.g. Lion King or Tarzan), and the infamous Reeperbahn. Enjoy the bustling city life of Hamburg combined with a relaxing stay in our idyllic country hotel!
Rosengarten Regional Park
The nearby Rosengarten invites you to enjoy long and relaxing strolls, either alone or with your favorite four-legged friend. This regional park boasts a rurally influenced yet urban cultural landscape whose inimitable charm comes from its unique mix of wooded hills, heathland, moorland, and the Este River Valley.
You can get to Rosengarten’s most important highlights with the free regional park shuttle. This shuttle bus operates on weekends and holidays from mid-July to mid-October and also permits guests to bring their bikes. You can also transfer to the free “Heide Shuttle” in Buchholz for a well-rested start to your bike tour through Lüneburg Heath.
Would you like to go on a picnic with the family? No problem! We’d be happy to provide a full picnic basket upon request (for a fee).
